Casual Position: Events Management & Marketing in music industry
We are looking for a student to work on a casual basis to manage the promotion of dance music events and parties, organisation of dj bookings and related duties such as contracts, admin, travel and accommodation arrangements, venue bookings and liaison with managers and agents. Part of the job will also be to manage the Grooveyard studio time table, dealing with bookings, cancellations and fees. You will also be responsible for advertisement and promotion of the studio which includes Dj lessons, production lessons, mixing and mastering services, standard hourly/daily rental and much more.
You will be in charge of social media marketing including the regular updates and management of all relevant pages including facebook, instagram and twitter. Events management or marketing experience would be preferred but not essential. Ideally you will be studying within this field and have knowledge and ideas to bring to the table in order to grow business.
