ECU Watermark GetLINKED! Series is a new and exciting initiative that aims to deliver a mix of presentations and practical workshops for industry, entrepreneurs and researchers alike, followed by purposeful networking sessions to link the world of academia with the business community.
ECU Watermark GetLINKED! Series - Session 6: DREAM, HUSTLE, BUILD
David McQueen is an entrepreneur and international speaker based in the UK. He is the Founder and CEO of Narratively Ltd, a professional development company, and founder of Magnificent Generation, a youth empowerment company. David travels the world speaking to organisations about the power of narrative as a fundamental pillar for their success.
David has worked with the likes of Sir Richard Branson, blue chip companies like Barclaycard, BP, BBC, Shell as well as many universities, schools and colleges. He has spoken at two TEDx conferences and is a TV presenter having hosted Virgin Media Pioneer, an online show for entrepreneurs, and CH4's Vocation Vocation Vocation in the UK, a show empowering students about future career choices.
David is a TED fellow, is married with two children, and is currently writing his first book called Success on Your Terms.
David will be sharing his story so far to inspire you to DREAM, HUSTLE and BUILD a life and career with success on your terms. David will also outline how to design and build companies to last. He’ll focus on three key stages of development including pitching for success.
