Did you know that ECU was named in the 2015 ‘THE World University Rankings’, recognising its status as a world class university focused on teaching and research. Research at ECU aims to make an impact and our researchers contribute to knowledge locally, nationally, and internationally.

When you undertake an ECU postgraduate research degree, you will be supported in many ways.

This includes competitive scholarships, qualified research supervisors and access to a comprehensive training program to support and empower you to achieve a successful research project and to enhance your future career.

ECU’s Graduate Research School provides a supportive environment for research students by providing face to face and online research training, a peer to peer mentoring service, special seminars, networking events and much more.

About Us

ECU’s Graduate Research School works to enhance the quality of the research experience and culture for research master and doctoral candidates, their supervisors and schools.

We provide a variety of support and development services, including face-to-face and online training, seminars, academic events and social activities.

An important component of your research journey is building skills and experiences to prepare you for fulfilling employment when you complete your research degree. Gaining relevant casual employment at ECU during your studies will provide you with recent work experience and valuable networks for future employment.
