ECU Alumni Connecting Through Letters Program

Get involved with the ECU Alumni Connecting Through Letters Program to help us spread some gratitude to former ECU staff. We want to thank some of former staff for their years of commitment to students and their dedication to ECU by sending some letters of thanks. You can get involved in this initiative and show your thanks to an ECU staff member while gaining valuable skills.

We’ll match you with a former staff member from your academic School that you’ll be able to check in with. This is also a great opportunity to gain some networking skills and ask valuable questions from someone with real experience in your field.

Volunteering and Covid-19

Due to the evolving COVID-19 situation ECU is postponing all physical volunteering events and programs for the foreseeable future. This is to assist with carrying out social distancing recommendations in order to safeguard the health and wellbeing of our staff and students.

The health and wellbeing of both the ECU community and external parties are at the forefront of our thoughts in these times.

It is however crucial that we as a community stay connected with those in need and actively participate in safe volunteering opportunities.

As a community we recognise the effect isolation is going to have on our society in the coming months. We are endeavouring to bring as many virtual volunteering opportunities to you so that we can continue to contribute and engage in volunteer activities, under the parameters defined by the current situation.

IMPORTANT NOTE:If you are already engaged in volunteering activities outside of the ECU volunteer program please ensure you are aware of your rights and responsibilities as a volunteer by visiting Volunteering Australia website.
