With over 6000 students coming to Perth to take part in 33 different sports over 7 days, the 2016 Australian University Games are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to get involved!

Australian University Sport (AUS) are giving ECU students the chance to work behind the scenes in some exciting volunteering opportunities to help support the planning and delivery of the games.

Whether you are interested in marketing, sports medicine, operation, social media, administration or just getting involved on the day there are a variety of positions available!

The games take place 25-30 September and you must be available full time during the event as well as one day a week in the lead up to the games for selected positions. You’ll be provided with meals for your shift (lunch or dinner) and a volunteer t-shirt to wear during the games!

Find all available positions that you can apply for here. General volunteer position applications close August 14, however most event internships close at the end of April so apply today to avoid disappointment!

We're also on the lookout for volunteers for the inaugural Western University Games!

This will be the largest regional University sporting event taking place in the western region and there are numerous volunteer positions and internships available in the lead up to the event as well as a variety of game day roles.

The games will take place from 3-6 July in Bunbury and include students from university and TAFE with sports ranging from AFL, to lawn bowls, tennis and even tenpin bowling!

Check out all the positions you can apply for here. Closing dates for internships will depend on the role so make sure to get your application in today!
