Vol-Squad Newsletter 15th April 2020
Wherever you turn, you can find someone who needs you. Even if it is a little thing, do something for which there is no pay but the privilege of doing it. Remember, you don’t live in the world all of your own.” ~Albert Schweitzer Vol-Squad Newsletter 15th April 2020 People choose to volunteer for a variety of reasons. For some it offers the chance to give something back to the community or make a difference to the people around them. For others it provides an opportunity to develop new skills or build on existing experience and knowledge. Regardless of the motivation, what unites them all is that they find it both challenging and rewarding. More than 6 million Australians make a difference by volunteering each year, doing a wide range of tasks for a wide range of volunteer involving organisations. That’s 6 million Australians changing lives for the better and giving back to their community. Be part of the change! Lydia, Vol-Squad Program Leader |
